Nite Life
Going Out
Very few Spanish cities and even fewer European capitals offer the possibilities that Madrid does when it comes to going out. Our city awakens very early to start the binge and goes to bed very, very late. In addition, as a cosmopolitan and welcoming city, you will never feel alienated, what is more, having spent just few days in the capital, you will soon feel at home… or even better, you may want to make Madrid home!
Such an important city presents an unlimited range of nite adventures, each one unique, each one unforgettable. It don't matter what gets you going, the music that starts your heart racing, or the kind of people you're looking to meet. Tranquillity? Insanity? First one thing, then another? Dance? Pop? Spanish Only? We're confident that you'll find it here in WebMadrid.
One of the most surprising things for people who visit our city is the way in which Madrileños go out-- we don't stay in one joint for long. You never go to only one place in Madrid. Sometimes not even the same part of town. Therefore, the first thing you gotta know is that if you are going out at nite, you must be ready to move to and fro, always looking for variety, for a surprise. "How about cruising to somewhere else?" This is the most frequent question you'll hear after a drink or two. That's why you won´t surprised seeing our streets full of nomadic nite-birds bar hopping at anytime of nite. There are occasional disadvantages, for example, getting stuck in a traffic jam near la Puerta de Alcalá at two o'clock in the morning or being not finding any place to park in most areas of town from 22:00 to 01:00.
So what can ya do? Kick back, relax, listen to some tunes in your car and entrust yourself to fortune and fate. Oh, not to forgot-- lots of patience... the nite is looooong in Madrid and it's not worth starting it all pissed off, is it?
What's our recommendation, have a little patience when you first get started and like any great any master work of art-- the more trained the eye the better it can be appreciated. "Practice makes perfect," right? So what are you waiting for?? Get practicing!
