Conclusion?
Slowly raising a hand from its permanent entanglement with a newly discovered long-lost (but totally unknown 20 minutes earlier) "friend," you begin the late nite game called Who's been screwing with my watch?
HUH? I thought this city goes all nite??? Well, it does, you just need to know how it works.
Come three o´clock life changes a little bit. We say 3 o´clock, because this is the official hour as set by legistature enacted in 1998. Establishments with only a Bar license must close by 3 am. So what does this mean? That sometime between 3 and 5am this fine drinking establishment shall close. But have no fear, the music down the street ain't gonna stop, no just yet.
Discos have the privilege of not having to close until 6am. So, do they close at the exact time they're supposed to? Almost. Many do clse at 6am while all toerh close between 7 and 8am.
What to do when you get booted out of a disco at 8am?!?
Have no fear, you still have plenty of options! Oh yeah, there are "Afters" that wold love to have your business. 8am to ??? Maybe you only want to dance until noon, ok... no problem. How about keeping going until 3 in the afternoon? Pefect, you can make it home just in time for lunch!" (Remember, this is Spain and this is THE lunch hour.)
So keep one thing in mind, as this unforgettable nite life unfolds-- it keeps on going, so make sure you do. Keep your cool and you'll have a time you'll never forget.
